Wild Arnica!

Posted by

Delighted to see all the wild arnica growing around 4,000 feet at Snoqualmie Pass. (Just an hour east of Seattle) See all the beautiful yellow flowers behind Jayne?  It seems the plant can keep producing flowers every few days even without water. I reminded myself that we are standing in what is certainly a waterfall in the spring with all the snow melt. There's quite a diversity of plant life in these areas. You have to kind of poke around. Also, once in a while you'll find interesting branches, or sticks beaten up by the melt out. We'll be going back soon!
