Come over to Vashon for the Lavender Celebration and a tour of Sister Sage Herb Farm! My farm will be open for a casual tour of the garden from 10-3, you pick herbs, & music. I will demonstrate the herbal salve making process at 12:00. I will have my herb sodas and other products as well as some other friends' products for sale.
The Lavender Farms have rented a bus to take folks around to their farms, and the entrance fee is $5 for those farms (proceeds go to a non-profit on Vashon Island), my tour is free, and it is near Fox Farm and "downtown" Vashon.
From Fox farm, continue south on 107th SW to SW Bank Rd. Take a left and go down past the 25 MPH road sign and turn right (103rd). go down that street and park if you are driving. Then follow the signs to the farm road. Sister Sage Farm entrance is the last gate. There should be a white canopy set up, as well.
If you are coming from Vashon Highway, drive to the Vashon Movie Theatre & Chevron Station (one block south of the main intersection and Farmers' Market) and turn onto 178th SW. (only one way to turn- North). Go past the Post office and shopping center and park at the end of the road and follow the signs.
